What is Thankmas?
Each year, Thankmas brings together communities, streamers, content creators, and celebrities across a range of platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook. Throughout the month long campaign in December, participants will harness the collective power of their online communities to raise funds. Jacksepticeye will anchor the effort by hosting a live stream with exclusive content, audience interaction, and fun collaborations with his network of creators and celebrities.
This year we're supporting TWO amazing organizations, Samaritans and Crisis Text Line to bring international assistance to those in need. 700,000 people are taken each year due to suicide and something must be done. Working with these organizations we have formulated a plan to increase their capacity to help an additional 2 million people per year.
About Crisis Text Line
Crisis Text Line is a nonprofit organization that provides free, 24/7, confidential text-based mental health support in English and Spanish. Since its launch in 2013, we have supported over 10 million conversations in the United States and 14 million globally together with our affiliates in Canada, the UK and Ireland. Crisis Text Line’s more than 75,000 trained volunteer Crisis Counselors bring texters from a hot moment to a cool calm through nonjudgmental support and empowers each texter to use their own strengths and coping strategies. We are committed to creating an empathetic world where nobody feels alone. About Samaritans
Samaritans is a charity working across the UK and Ireland to reduce the number of people who take their own lives and help people who are struggling to cope with how they’re feeling or with life’s challenges.
We know that life can sometimes be incredibly tough. Thanks to the dedication of around 23,000 volunteers, Samaritans can be there for anyone, whatever they are going through day or night, 365 days a year. We’re also at the heart of local communities, working with schools, workplaces, railways, prisons and hospitals to offer training and support, preventing suicide and helping people turn their lives around.

How can I participate in thankmas?
Anyone is welcome to donate to any of the campaigns on thankmas.tiltify.com. You can also fundraise for thankmas by creating your own fundraising page and this will increase the total raised for everyone! You can do a livestream, make recorded content on your social channels and tag them with the donation link for your campaign or simply create a campaign with your own picture and incentives to allow your family and friends to donate.
What is this years goal $6 million and what does that accomplish?
This year we have identified very specific needs between the 2 charities in order to increase capacity for their call and text centers to aid 2 million NEW people in need. This includes:
- Helping train 9000 new volunteers across these 2 organizations to support incoming calls & texts for people in crisis
- investing in hardware and software to help expand and enhance the digital reach of these programs since reaching people by online chat/text is paramount.
- Funding awareness programs across multiple countries and in schools.
This will not only spread awareness of the resources available but expand the capacity of these programs to assist 2 million new people each year. That’s 2 million more people that will have a trained volunteer available to help them in a time of crisis.
I am trying to donate a larger amount from a DAF or making a large wire that your system is not accepting. Can i get in contact with someone directly to make a larger donation?
Yes, if you wish to make a large donation and are not able to make it through our automated donation system please email [email protected] and put THANKMAS DONATION in the subject line. Please only use this for donations that cannot be accepted through the system and are a minimum of $10,000
Is there a special overlay I can use for my stream?
A custom #Thankmas overlay will be available in your Tiltify campaign dashboard by November 21, 2024! You can edit your overlay widgets to display donation alerts, rewards, polls, and more. Take a look at the quick start guide for overlays here!
How are donations being collected and distributed?
All donations go to the Tiltify Impact Fund (TIF) a 501c3 tax deductible entity managed by the Edward Charles Foundation. Once the funds are collected they will be split 50/50 between Crisis Text Line and Samaritans.
What percentage of the funds donated reach the charity?
Approximately 88% after bank and credit card processing fees Tiltify's fee and production costs.
When is Jacksepticeye's official Thankmas stream?
Jacksepticeye's stream takes place on December 6th beginning at 12pm PT ending around 8pm PT. It can be watched for free on his YouTube channel.
Can I attend Thankmas in person?
Yes, thankmas is broadcast from the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles and tickets are available through Ticketmaster at https://www.ticketmaster.com/thankmas-tickets/artist/3077177
